Bentley Bentayga – interior repairs

This stealthy 2018 Bentley Bentayga came in for various repairs to the interior. These had been caused by general wear and tear and we able to restore each area so the damage was invisible.

This particular Bentayga had some subtle external modifications plus a Stage 1 tune including an awesome sounding exhaust. The 6.0-liter twin-turbo W-12 engine is backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission powering all four wheels and has been re-mapped and tuned to produce 800bhp.

Porsche 944 S2 – Drivers Seat Bolsters and Drivers Door Panel Repair

This extremely clean 1989 Porsche 944 S2 came in for repairs to the drivers seat base and back bolsters and drivers door panel. The car was a very nice example, especially for its age and was of particular interest as it is still owned by the lady who bought it brand new. We were able to repair and recolour both drivers seat bolsters and drivers door panel to bring it back in line with the rest of the interior.

The 944 S2 is powered by a 3 litre flat inline 4 engine producing 208bhp through a five-speed manual gearbox producing a 0-60mph time of 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 143mph.

Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet – Drivers Seat Bolster Repair

This immaculate 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet came in for a repair to the drivers seat bolster. The car was an extremely nice example, only let down by the wear incurred by the drivers bolster. We were able to repair the bolster so it looked like new again, adding the finishing touch to the interior.

The 911 Carrera S is powered by a 3.8 litre flat six litre engine producing 400 bhp through a seven-speed pdk gearbox pricing a 0-60mph time of 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 187mph.

2007 Porsche 911 Turbo – full interior refurbishment/recolour

This 2007 Porsche 911 (997 generation) Turbo came in for a full interior refurbishment. As you can see from the pictures, the Terracotta leather had become stained and discoloured with mould over time. We gave the full interior a thorough deep clean were able to match the original colour and restore the seats, steering wheel, door panels and dash back to their former glory.
This Porsche 911 Turbo is powered by a 3.6 litre twin turbo flat six engine producing 473 hp and 457 lbf?ft of torque, meaning performance figures of 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 193mph.

Ferrari California T – interior repairs

This 2015 Ferrari California T came in for repairs to the driver and passenger seat bolsters and steering wheel. All were showing signs of wear, letting down an otherwise very nice interior. We matched the colour on each damaged area to perfectly blend in with the rest of the red leather in the cabin.

The Ferrari California T is powered by a 3.9 litre turbocharged V8 producing 553bhp and 557 lb-ft of torque meaning a 0-60 time of 3.6 second and 193 mph top speed are attainable.

Audi RS3 – drivers seat back repair

This stealthy Audi RS3 came in for a repair to the centre panel on the back of the drivers seat. Surprisingly for such a low mileage car, the seat back had become worn and quite badly damaged. As you can see from the pictures, we were able to restore the seat panel back to as new condition.

This Audi RS3 is powered by a 2.5 litre turbo inline 5 cylinder engine producing 400bhp and 354 lb-ft of torque and puts its power down through Audi’s 4-wheel drive quattro system meaning 0-60 mph time in 4.1 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.

BMW 635 CSi – interior refurbishment

This striking 1983 BMW 635 CSi came in for refurbishment to the front and rear seats, rear speaker covers and steering wheel. Over time, the seats had worn and cracked and the colour had faded, plus the steering wheel had also worn. As you can see from the pictures, we were able to recolour the seats and speaker covers back to the original colour and restore the steering wheel to as good as new.

1965 Ford Mustang Fastback – interior refurbishment

This stunning ‘65 Mustang Fastback came in refurbishment to both front seats, front door panels and rear interior panels. Overall, the interior was in pretty good shape for its age but needed rejuvenating in certain areas. As you can see from the pictures, we were able to bring the interior up to the same standard as the exterior.

The fastback version of the Mustang went on sale in September 1964 as a 2 + 2 Fastback Coupe, released in response to the growing market for fastback rooflines at the time and introduced the term ‘pony car’ which is an American classification for affordable, compact, highly styled coupés or convertibles with a “sporty” or performance-oriented image. Featuring a 289 cubic inch (4.7-litre) V8 engine producing that classic American V8 burble combined with instantly recognisable and now iconic styling – the 65 Mustang fastback is a true American classic!

Ferrari California – interior repairs

This Ferrari California came in for repairs to the drivers seat and a refresh of the passenger seat. The drivers seat had been repaired before, but we were able to rectify the imperfections and perfectly colour match the front seat leather to the rest of the cream interior.

The California is powered by a 4.3 litre 32v V8 producing 453bhp, transferring that power to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox, meaning a 3.8 second 0-60 time and 194mph top speed are attainable.

Porsche 911 Carrera – interior repairs

This 1994 993 Carrera came in for repairs to the driver and passenger seat. The car was extremely straight, especially for its age, only let down by a few interior imperfections. We were able to repair these areas, making this one very nice 911.

The 993’s 3.6 flat six litre engine was to be the last air-cooled engine fitted to a 911, being replaced by a water-cooled unit in the next generation 996. Producing 272 bhp through a six-speed manual gearbox this Porsche covers the 0-60mph sprint in 5.6 seconds onto a top speed of 168mph.

Ferrari Testarossa – full interior restoration

This stunning Ferrari Testarossa came in for a full interior restoration. It was part way through being restored, having just been repainted to a very high standard and needed the interior to be brought up to a similar standard. As you’ll see from the pictures, the interior wasn’t in great shape, but we were to fully refurbish the dash, seats, door panels, centre console, headlining and other miscellaneous interior trim.

This ‘Monospecchio’ (single mirror) Testarossa is finished in Rosso Corsa with beige leather interior and is believed to be one of only 94 right-hand-drive ‘Monospecchio’ cars produced, and one of only 48 UK-market examples.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.9 litre flat 12 engine producing 385 bhp and 361 lb?ft of torque, this Testarossa can achieve a 0-60 mph time in 5.3 seconds onto a top speed of 180 mph.

BMW M4 – drivers seat refurbishment

This 2015 BMW M4 came in for refurbishment to the drivers seat. The bolsters had become worn and the seat back and base had ingrained dye transfer which is typical in lighter coloured interiors. We were able to match the colour perfectly and restore the seat back to as new condition.

This BMW M4 is powered by a twin turbocharged 3.0 litre inline-6 engine producing 425 bhp and 406 lbf?ft of torque, with a 0-60 mph time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph.

Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet – full interior refurbishment

This 996 model Carrera Cabriolet came in for a full interior restoration including front and rear seats, seat backs, handbrake, dashboard and door panels. We were able to perfectly colour match the original leather to bring this Porsche’s interior back to its former glory.

The 996’s 3.6 litre flat six engine was the first water-cooled engine fitted to a 911, replacing the previously air-cooled unit and produces 316 bhp, propelling the Porsche to a mid 5 second 0-60 sprint and a top speed of over 170mph.

This striking 2016 BMW M3 (finished in BMW Individual Ferrari Red) came in for refurbishment to the drivers seat. The outer bolster had become worn and there was dye transfer from clothing that made the seat look dirty. We cleaned and colour matched the seat so it looked as good as new again.

This 2006 Porsche Cayman S came in for an interior refurbishment to the drivers seat bolsters and handbrake. The drivers seat outer bolster and handbrake had worn over time and there was damage to the drivers seat inner bolster.

This Porsche Cayman S is powered by a 3.4 litre flat six engine that produces 291bhp and 251lb ft of torque providing a 0-60mph time of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 171mph.

Audi RS4 Avant – interior refurbishment

This 2000 Audi RS4 Avant came in for an interior refurbishment to the front and rear seats and door panels. As you can see from the pictures, we were able to restore the seats and door panels and get them looking factory fresh again.

This Audi RS4 Avant is powered by a 2.7 litre biturbo V6 that powers all four wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. It produces 375 bhp and 325 lb-ft of torque meaning 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.

BMW M4 – drivers seat bolster refurbishment

This lovely 2015 Yas Marina Blue BMW M4 came in for refurbishment to the drivers seat bolster. The car was in immaculate condition having covered minimal miles, with just the seat bolster needing attention. We matched the colour perfectly and restored the bolster back to as new condition.

This BMW M4 is powered by a twin turbocharged 3.0 litre inline-6 engine. Standard specs are 425 bhp and 406 lbf?ft of torque, with a 0-60 mph time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph, although this particular M4 had an upgraded variable valve exhaust system so was producing more power and an enhanced (read louder!) exhaust note.

This well looked after 2011 BMW M3 came in for refurbishment to the drivers seat bolster. The rest of the interior was in great condition with only the drivers bolster letting it down. We were able to restore the bolster to as good as new.

Mercedes SL 320 – drivers seat, door panel and sun visor refurbishment/repair

This very nice 1999 Mercedes SL 320 came in for a refurbishment to the drivers seat and repairs to the drivers side door panel and passenger side sun visor. We restored and colour matched the seat, repaired the hole in the door panel and the damage to the sun visor which added the final touches to the interior.

This SL 320 is powered by a 3.2-litre V6 engine producing 231 bhp and 315 Nm of torque providing a 0-62 mph time of 8 seconds and a top speed of 148mph

Audi S4 Avant – interior refurbishment

This very clean 1999 Audi A4 Avant came in for an interior refurbishment that included all seats, steering wheel and glove box. Over time, the leather had cracked and worn and had become shiny. We were able to improve the whole interior and bring it back to more of an original factory finish.

This Audi A4 Avant is powered by a 2.7 litre twin turbo V6 that powers all four wheels through Audis famous Quattro system. It produces 260bhp and 295 lb-ft of torque meaning 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 155mph.

Ferrari 360 Modena – interior refurbishment

This Ferrari 360 Modena came in for refurbishment to the seats, door panels and hand brake gaiter. The seats had become glossy and didn’t match the matte finish of the rest of the interior. We were able to return the seats to their original matte finish and perfectly colour match the leather to the rest of the cream interior.

The 360 is powered by a flat-plane crank 3.6 litre V8 engine producing 394 bhp and 275 lb?ft of torque through a F1 automated manual, meaning 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 183 mph.

Bentley Continental GT – interior repairs/refurbishment

This Bentley Continental GT came in for repairs to the drivers side door panel and seat bolster. We were able to repair the defects and perfectly colour match the leather to the rest of the cream and black interior.

The GT is powered by a twin turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 and drives through a ZF six-speed automatic gearbox to all four 21-inch wheels. The Bentley produces 567bhp and 516lb ft of torque and can sprint to 60mph in 4.4sec with a top speed of 198mph.

Ford Mustang Bullitt – steering wheel repair

This mean looking Mustang Bullitt came in to have a repair done to the steering wheel. As you can see from the pics, we were able to return the steering wheel to as good as new condition.

The Mustang Bullit was introduced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic car chase movie ‘Bullitt’ starring Steve McQueen that featured a certain iconic 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback. This Mustang is powered my an upgraded 5.0 litre V8 engine that produces a menacing burble and 453bhp and 390lb ft of torque, meaning this pony can sprint from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds and gallop to a top speed of over 160mph.

Aston Martin DB9 – interior repairs

This lovely, low mileage one owner Aston Martin DB9 came in for various interior repairs. As you can see from the pictures, the repairs were unnoticeable and we were able to match the colour of the leather perfectly.

Equipped with a 5.9-litre V12 engine mated to a 6 speed ZF gearbox, the DB9 produces 450 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque meaning a 0-60 mph sprint in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 186mph.

BMW i8 – interior repairs

This BMW i8 came in for cosmetic repairs to the drivers seat bolster, centre console and drivers side carpet. This is a good example of the sort of repairs we can perform to different areas of a cars interior.

This BMW i8 features a carbon fibre-reinforced plastic central tub with unique butterfly hinged doors and is powered by mid-mounted 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 228bhp and a front-mounted electric motor producing 129bhp. With its all-wheel drive, a 0-62mph sprint in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 155mph are possible.

Mazda MX5 – seat bolster repair

The current owner bought the car as a £75 MOT failure and has spent the last 3 years restoring the car to its current condition. Bentley Continental GT Speed – interior refresh/refurbishment

This Bentley Continental GT Speed came in for a full refresh and refurbishment of its beautiful cream leather interior.

The GT Speed is powered by a 6.0 litre W12 twin turbo engine producing 600 bhp and 553 lb-ft of torque producing a 0 to 60mph sprint time of just 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 202mph. At launch the GT Speed was the most powerful production Bentley ever and the first to top 200mph.

Alfa Romeo 8C Spider – seat repairs

This beautiful Alfa Romeo 8C Spider came in for a repair to the drivers seat bolster and a refurbishment to the passenger seat bolster. These seats, made from carbon fibre by Sparco, are upholstered with soft full grain leather.

The carbon fibre bodied Alfa is powered by a Ferrari sourced 4.7 litre V8 engine producing 444hp and 354lb-ft of torque through a six-speed transaxle gearbox producing a 0-60 mph sprint of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph. And as for the sound of the Ferrari V8? Bellissimo!

Porsche 944 steering wheel – full refurbishment

This customer dropped his Porsche 944 steering wheel off for a full refurbishment. As you’ll see from the pictures, a previous refurbishment attempt hadn’t quite worked so it was up to Leathertech to bring the wheel back to its former glory!

This pristine Porsche Macan GTS came in for a minor scratch repair on the lower part of the passenger door panel. After the repair was completed, the scratch was unnoticeable and the panel looked as good as new.

The Macan is powered by a 2.9 litre twin turbo V6 engine producing 375 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque and can sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 162mph.

Porsche 928 GTS – interior refurbishment

This lovely Porsche 928 GTS came in for refurbishments to the steering wheel, drivers seat and handbrake. The interior features two tone grey and blue leather and we were able to bring the various components back to the condition of the rest of the interior.

Originally designed to replace the 911, the 928 is powered by a 5.4 litre V8 engine producing 345 hp and 369 lb·ft of torque enabling this GTS model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in the mid 5 second range and onto a top speed of 171mph.

Lamborghini Gallardo – full interior recolour/retrim

This stunning Lamborghini Gallardo came in for a full interior recolour and seat retrim – the owner wanted the interior transforming from yellow to black.

The seats were retrimmed in black leather with the dash and door panels colour matched perfectly. As you can see from the pictures, the results speak for themselves and this transformation lends a more subtle look to the interior.

The Lamborghini Gallardo is powered by a 5.0 litre naturally aspirated V10 engine generating 493 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. This particular model is equipped with the sought after 6 speed gated manual transmission and can sprint from 0-60 mph in just over 4 seconds with a maximum top speed of 192 mph.

Bentley Continental GT – interior repairs/refurbishment

This Bentley Continental GT came in for several small repairs and refurbishments to the leather interior. We were able to repair all the defects and perfectly colour match the leather to the rest of the cream and black interior.

The GT is powered by a twin turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 and drives through a ZF six-speed automatic gearbox to all four 21-inch wheels. The Bentley produces 567bhp and 516lb ft of torque and can sprint to 60mph in 4.4sec with a top speed of 198mph.

Mercedes A180d – steering wheel refurbishment

This customer dropped off their Mercedes A180d at our workshop to have the steering wheel fully refurbished. As you can see, we were able to bring the steering wheel back to as good as new, matching the leather colour perfectly.

This service is particularly useful if your car is at the end of its finance agreement, as any damage outside of the fair wear and tear standards is likely to result in substantial dealer charges. Having the damage repaired by Leathertech before you return the vehicle can save you money.

This Bentley Continental GT Convertible came in for a seat bolster refurbishment and a colour change to the steering wheel. As you can see, we were able to perfectly colour match the steering wheel to the rest of the cream leather on the interior.

The GTC is powered by a 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 521 bhp and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 191 mph.

This 996 model Carrera 4 came in for a full interior restoration including seats, steering wheel, handbrake and centre console, dashboard and door panels. We re-padded the front seats and were able to perfectly colour match the original leather to bring this Porsche’s interior back to its former glory.

The 996’s 3.6 litre flat six engine was the first water-cooled engine fitted to a 911, replacing the previously air-cooled unit and can propel the Porsche to a 5.0 second 0-60 sprint.

BMW M5 Competition – rear seat panel repair

This stunning BMW M5 Competition came in for a repair to the passenger seat rear panel. The seats feature an illuminated M5 logo and unique shell-seat design (see pics). This sixth generation BMW M5 Competition is powered by a TwinPower Turbo 4.4 litre V8 engine producing 625hp and 750Nm of torque. A 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph means this M5 goes as good as it looks!

A regular customer came in for an interior clean and minor refurb on this beautiful Bentley Continental R. As you can see from the pictures, this Bentley has a beautiful cream and red leather interior that Leathertech ensure is maintained to the highest standard.

When launched in 1991, the R cost £178,000 making it the most expensive production car in the world at the time. Powered by a 6.75-litre turbo V8 producing 325bhp, 0-60mph was possible in 6.6 secs with a 145mph regulated top speed.

Jaguar XK8 – interior refurbishment

This Jaguar XX8 convertible came in for an interior refurbishment including a tear in the drivers seat bolster. As you’ll see from the pictures, we were able to repair the seat so the tear was unnoticeable.

Autobrite Direct based in Stoke on Trent needed the two front seats from a Ferrari 360 Modena Spider restoring to their original glory.

Autobrite Direct, the official detailers of the popular TV show CAR SOS, were performing an exterior and interior restoration on the Ferrari for a nominated deserving owner and were filming every stage of the progress.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster interior restoration.

This particular car was previously an Aston Martin factory test car used to evaluate new and improved technology and featured many differences and upgrades than the standard model.

As such, the interior had many defects and scratches due to various pieces of test equipment being used inside the car.

A full interior restoration was performed bringing the beautiful triple black Aston back to showroom condition.

AC Frua – Full interior restoration. This rare and beautiful AC came to us needing a full and extensive interior restoration. As you’ll see from the pictures, we were able to fully restore this striking interior back to its former glory.

The AC Frua (or AC 428) was designed by Italian coachbuilder, Pietro Frua. Powered by a 428cui V8, only 49 Frua coupés were ever built, making this is a very rare car indeed.
